Every Service
Your Garden Needs

From blank-slate design to the ongoing care that keeps established gardens thriving. All built around a soil assessment, not assumptions.

Service 01

Garden
Design

Full-scope garden design from empty lot to planted scheme. We begin with soil analysis, work through site assessment (light mapping, drainage, existing structure), and produce a planting plan that reflects your aesthetic goals, ecology, and realistic maintenance capacity.

We don't produce generic planting schemes. Every design is site-specific, seasonally considered, and reviewed with you at draft stage before any material is ordered.

Comprehensive soil testing through OSU Extension — pH, nutrients, texture, drainage
Full site survey: light mapping, drainage assessment, microclimate analysis
Detailed planting plan with species list, layout, and seasonal interest chart
Material sourcing from ODA-certified Oregon growers
Installation by our trained field crew + 30-day plant care brief
6-week follow-up site visit included with every design project

Seasonal
Planting

Portland's climate supports genuine year-round garden interest — if you plant for each season rather than treating spring as the only planting opportunity. Our seasonal planting service handles spring and autumn transitions that keep texture, color, and structural interest through every month.

Spring refresh: cool-season annuals, bulb underplanting, early perennial installation
Autumn transition: winter structure planting, late-season color, bulb layering for spring
Soil amendment included with each seasonal visit
Plant sourcing to match your existing palette and aesthetic
Written seasonal care brief after each installation

Maintenance
Plans

Consistent, structured maintenance is what separates thriving gardens from gardens that look good for two months after installation. Our three-tier maintenance program matches visit frequency and scope to your garden's actual complexity and your involvement preference.

All plans include a dedicated horticulturist (not a rotating contractor), quarterly seasonal reports, and direct email access between visits.

Seedling Plan: once monthly, 2-hour visit — ideal for low-maintenance established gardens
Canopy Plan: fortnightly visits — seasonal planting refreshes, pest monitoring, irrigation checks
Full Bloom Plan: weekly visits + unlimited call-outs + indoor plant care included
All plans: quarterly written seasonal reports + email support
Switch tiers at end of any billing month with 14 days notice

Indoor Plant
Styling

Most indoor plants fail because they're matched to an aesthetic preference, not to the actual light conditions of the space. Our indoor plant service begins with a light assessment of your home — we measure foot-candle levels in each placement area — before sourcing a single plant.

Full-home light assessment (foot-candle measurement at all proposed placement points)
Plant selection matched to measured light levels, humidity, and lifestyle
Sourcing from specialist growers — not garden center stock
Pot selection and styling to complement your interior design
Written care plan tailored to each plant's specific placement
Ongoing care included in Full Bloom maintenance plan

Edible
Gardens

From a three-bed kitchen garden to a full backyard food forest — we design and build edible gardens around your household's actual harvest goals. We ask what you cook before we design what you grow.

Every edible installation includes our soil remediation protocol. Portland's residential soils require specific amendment work for food growing — skipping this step is why most kitchen gardens underperform.

Household harvest assessment — we design for what you'll actually use
No-dig raised bed construction (cedar, untreated) or in-ground bed preparation
Deep soil remediation for food-safe growing — pH correction, organic matter amendment
Succession planting plan for continuous harvest across the season
Irrigation design and drip system installation included
Seasonal seed-starting workshop for ongoing maintenance (optional add-on)
